Dave & Deanna Sutherland: An American Expat Couple Leaving Corporate Comfort to Follow God’s Call to Serve in Asia & Beyond

This is a podcast between Kristine (host), Harris (her son), and Dave and Deanna Sutherland - leaders of International Care Ministries (ICM). Their conversation explores how the couple navigated corporate America to ultimately end up in Non-Profit poverty relief in Asia and beyond. Over the last 25+ years, the Sutherland’s along with their team, have led ICM to transform the lives of 2.2+ million ultra-poor people through disciplined, scalable programs combining spiritual, health, and livelihood training. This episode wrestles with finding our purpose, obedience versus fear, success versus significance. Central to their message: don't wait for perfect clarity; however, say yes to the next step, trust God's provision, and use whatever gifts and resources you've been given.
