Merry Maids, Chuck Colson, and 52 Birthday Cards
In this episode of The One Pebble Podcast, Kristine and Elsie sit down with Dallen Peterson, the founder of Merry Maids and author of Rags, Riches, and Real Success.
After growing Merry Maids to more than 500 franchises nationwide, he sold to ServiceMaster and teamed up with his dear friend, Chuck Colson and Prison Fellowship to share the love of Christ with prisoners all over the world. Together, Dallen and Chuck visited 30 different prisons on Easter Sunday for 30 years in a row.
Dallen and his wife, Glennis were married for nearly 70 years before she went to be with the Lord. They had five children, twenty grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren. He sends birthday cards to each one.
