Prior to joining Teen Challenge Tom served as Outreach Pastor at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington for 14 years, and before that had a 15-year career in finance structuring and underwriting municipal bonds.

Tom and his wife Carmen have been married for 36 years, are the proud parents of four amazing children, and also have two grandchildren. Tom loves spending time with his family, relaxing at his cabin, and playing hockey. Tom has a BA from St. Cloud State and an MA from Mankato University, both in Public Administration and Finance. He is also an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
